“I’m better blonde”
Rita Ora says she has been dyeing her hair “forever”. The up-and-coming British singer is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label and is developing a reputation for being both a talented musician and fashion forward star. Rita is proud of her trademark style – blonde locks and bright red lipstick. She has been bleaching her dark hair since she left school and feels most comfortable as a blonde.
“My hair is naturally black and curly, but I’ve dyed it blonde forever,” she revealed to British magazine Look. “The first thing I did when I left school was buy a bottle of bleach – I love it. But my trademark is red lips, I also have nine tattoos. I think they’re beautiful.”
The 21-year-old edgy star also spoke about her fashion influences. Rita likes to experiment with high street and luxury clothing, revealing she is a fan of a certain hip-hop star-turned-designer.
“I’m into the ’90s right now, but I like to mix it up,” she explained. “I have high-street stuff bulging from my wardrobe. And I love Kanye West’s new collection.”
